Hamburg, Germany — ISC High Performance 2026, one of the world's leading events for high-performance computing and intelligent infrastructure, opened in Hamburg this week. Beijing Memblaze Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its full PBlaze7 enterprise PCIe 5.0 SSD portfolio, presenting a comprehensive storage solution for AI training and inference built around four core strengths: high performance, large capacity, high reliability, and low power consumption.

 

ISC is one of the most influential annual gatherings in the global HPC and AI infrastructure ecosystem, attracting supercomputing centers, research institutions, cloud service providers, and AI infrastructure companies from around the world. Storage has become a key engine for unlocking compute efficiency. The Memblaze PBlaze7 7A40 SSD, built with next-generation TLC NAND, supports capacities of up to 30.72TB. It delivers up to 3,400K IOPS random read, 1,250K IOPS random write, and sequential read/write bandwidth of up to 14.2GB/s and 12GB/s respectively. Combined with access latency as low as 50μs and 5μs, the drive efficiently supports AI workloads such as RAG retrieval, KV Cache management, and dynamic invocation of MoE models. By helping reduce time to first token (TTFT) and ease high-concurrency access pressure, PBlaze7 7A40 provides high-speed data delivery that minimizes GPU wait time.

 

To address the growing demand for ultra-large-capacity and high-density storage among AI customers, Memblaze also presented the PBlaze7 7A40 Ocean series, featuring a single-drive capacity of 122.88TB. With up to 3,350K IOPS in 4K random read performance and sequential bandwidth of up to 14.2GB/s, the series offers twice the bandwidth of mainstream high-capacity PCIe 4.0 SSDs, enabling more efficient access to ultra-large-scale data lakes, massive RAG knowledge bases, and checkpoint data, helps modern AI infrastructure meet its growing requirements for both scale and data access efficiency.

 

In addition, the PBlaze7 7940 series, a proven mainstay of Memblaze's PCIe 5.0 product family, has been widely deployed by customers worldwide and recognized by international partners. With flexible form factors, excellent power efficiency, and rigorous reliability validation, the series is well suited for a wide range of scenarios, including traditional servers, GPU servers, and edge AI deployments, helping customers achieve a lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
